Nursery
A nursery is provided for children ages 0 to 5 years old from 11 a.m. to noon.  Older children should participate in the regular Worship Service.

A Children's Message will take place before the sermon is given during the Worship Service. Most children stay in the Worship Service until after the Children's Message and then are welcome to go to the nursery.

Children may also be taken to the Nursery before the worship service begins. They will still be able to participate in the Children's Message as the nursery volunteers will bring them to the sanctuary when it is time.

Please bring your child's diaper bag. A change of clothes is always a good idea. The nursery workers usually provide a small snack for the children. Nursery workers vary from week to week, but all have great experience with small children. Most are moms and grandmas
themselves!

Dress
Salem United Methodist Church's congregation dresses in a variety of styles. You will see ties and suits along with polo shirts and jeans for the men. Women wear pants, skirts, dresses and sometimes jeans. Please dress comfortably for yourself and your own style.

From Hwy. 52 N.: Take Hwy 52 S. to the Hwy. 89 Exit. Turn left onto Pine St./Hwy. 89. Follow Pine to Renfro St., turn left. Follow Renfro Street. It will turn into North Main and then Wards Gap Road. The church is located about 3 miles from Downtown Mount Airy, N.C. on Wards Gap Road.

From I-77: Exit 100 to Hwy. 89 East. Turn left onto Pine St./Hwy. 89. Follow Pine to Renfro St., turn left. Follow Renfro Street. It will turn into North Main and then Wards Gap Road. The church is located about 3 miles from Downtown Mount Airy, N.C.

From Highway 52 S.: Take Hwy. 52 N. to Business 52. This road becomes Renfro Street. Follow Renfro Street. It will turn into North Main and then Wards Gap Road. The church is located about 3 miles from Downtown Mount Airy, N.C. on Wards Gap Road.

Parking & Greeters
Visitors parking is available directly in front of the sanctuary and is designated by posted signs. We have two greeters who will hand you a bulletin and welcome you to the church. Please feel free to ask them any questions. We'll usually recognize that you are a visitor because our church is small; our attendance is usually around 80 for worship service.
